CAPE CORAL, Fla. - We want to give you a look from our very own viewers point of view.
Here are some of the pictures they posted and shared with us on fox four now.
With 70 mile per hour winds, cape coral was one of the first communities to get hit this evening
and the damage is extensive.
You can see in some of these pictures downed power lines are creating an obstacle course along beach parkway.
Trees have been literally uprooted and knocked to the ground.
Some of them split into pieces, resembling shrapnel and tooth-picks.
Cars have been tossed around like toys.
And entire roofs of homes have been ripped off.
The entire contents of one familys home has been exposed to the rain and wind.
And with all the sudden rain, there was simply no time for any type of drainage.
Streets flooded with parking lots turning into ponds.
Meanwhile, home owners will be busy picking up the debris which now litters so many yards.
