CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- It was a restless night for some in south Cape Coral who woke up to a police helicopter flying over their houses.
Residents living near Cape Coral Parkway and Santa Barbara Boulevard called Fox 4 reporting the helicopter. Our Breaking News Tracker crew talked to police who say they were looking for a suspect overnight, but wouldn't reveal more.
Making matters more uncomfortable, this is the 2nd night in a row people in the area heard a helicopter flying overnight.
Sunday night, one person was injured in a shooting incident in the southeast part of the city.
