Suspect sought in series of tool thefts

UPDATE -- Police have identified the man accused of stealing several power tools from Brinker Brown Fastener, as well as several other local businesses over the last week.

Russel Mason has multiple warrants for his arrest in various justifications between Orlando and Miami in Similar crimes.

 

LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Lee County deputies are searching for a man accused of tool thefts in the central part of Lee County and Fort Myers.

On Thursday, deputies responded to Brinker Brown Fastener located at 12290 Crystal Commerce loop, in regards to the theft of power tools.

Employees say an unknown black male entered the business and walked in and out of the store for  total of four times over the course of 30 minutes. After he left the final time, employees say they noticed two tools removed from the wall and two empty boxes in the same area. 

The suspect is described as a heavyset black male, approximately 6'2". He wore a camouflage hat during the time he was in the store.
