LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Red tide is making its way back into Southwest Florida, according to the latest map from Florida Fish and Wildlife.
Their latest update to their Daily Sample Map shows low to medium concentrations being found around Sanibel and Captiva, and high concentrations in parts of Charlotte County.
Red tide is not present in Collier County.
However, medium and high concentrations did appear further north off Sarasota, Manatee, and Pinellas counties.
Elsewhere in the state, testing shows red tide is no longer present on the east coast of Florida, and at just one spot in the panhandle.
