CAPE CORAL, Fla. --  Two Naples men have been arrested on weapons charges after police say one of them pulled a gun out in the parking lot of Dixie Roadhouse.

According to Cape Coral Police, around 2:00 a.m. on March 2nd, patrol officers near Dixie Roadhouse heard arguing in the parking lot across the street. Officers then observed 27-year-old Victor Fernandez Jr. reach into his vehicle, pull a firearm and chamber a round.

The people that Fernandez was arguing with immediately drove off, while Fernandez attempted to drive away with another male, later identified as 24-year-old Ryan Godcharles.

A high-risk car stop was performed by officers. Fernandez was ordered out of the vehicle, handcuffed, patted down and detained. Godcharles was then ordered out of the vehicle and handcuffed, and as Officer Munzert patted him down a loaded 9mm firearm dropped from the groin area of his clothing.

Further investigation revealed marijuana and two marijuana lollipops in the vehicle.

Fernandez was placed under arrest for improper exhibition of a firearm and possession of marijuana under 20 Grams.

Godcharles was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm without a license, possession of marijuana under 20 Grams, and providing a false name to a law enforcement officer.

Both men were transported to the Lee County Jail.
