CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Quick actions by a witness and Cape Coral Police has led to the arrest of two Lee COunty men in a Cape Coral apartment complex.
The victim called police around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, saying he saw somebody enter his car and steal items. The victim confronted the man, who gave the items back then fled with a cohort.
Police responded and located the men in the area and determined they were the burglars.
19-year-old Austin Martin of Fort Myers and 22-year-old Michael Greene of North Fort Myers were arrested and charged with burglary of a vehicle and petit theft.
They are both in custody in the Lee County Jail on $5,750 bond.
