Police in Naples say they found two people dead Thursday afternoon in a wooded area near the 700 block of Goodlette-Frank Road.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired just before 3:30 p.m. at the Naples Commons on Goodlette-Frank Road. After searching the property by ground and air, officers located the bodies of two adult men on the edge of the property in a heavily wooded area. Police said the area is private property.
Police have not confirmed a cause of death and they have not released the names of the men found dead.
Linda Arsenault said she walks her dog in the wooded area every day, sometimes three times a day.
"Scary. It's scary," Arsenault said. "But I'm not surprised at anything anymore. It could happen anywhere."
Even though no one is arrested, police say no one else is in danger.
