PINE ISLAND, Fla. - A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for all customers of Greater Pine Island Water Association who live on Pine Island south of the main Water Plant at 9550 Stringfellow Road including St James City.
A valve on the main line on Stringfellow Road has failed and service will be interrupted well into the night.
Please boil drinking and cooking water for at least one minute before using or use bottled water.
Anticipated date of clearance by the Health Department is late Thursday afternoon, March 3rd.
