NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A runaway boat on a trailer crashed into a parked truck Wednesday, causing damage but no injuries.
It happened off Tamiami Trail, just north of the Edison Bridge.
Witnesses tell Fox 4 that the boat trailer on a 20-foot boat came undone on the way to a boat ramp and drifted into the parking lot of the Price Cutter Furniture store, where it smashed into a truck.
No injuries were reported.
