A favorite Southwest Florida "Haunt" says stop by and pick up a seafood meal

PINE ISLAND, Fla. — Capt'n Con's Fish House has been a landmark on ruggedly beautiful Pine Island.

One of its claims to fame is that is may be haunted by old seafarers from days gone by.

Usually, WFTX visits them on Halloween to have a laugh.

But these days, the struggle to stay in business is no laughing matter for the folks who work at Capt'n Consand other local restaurants.

That's why we're featuring Capt'n Cons "We're Open" segment.

They are taking pick up orders for their locally famous seafood at their much envied location on the very northern tip of Pine Island in Lee County.

If you were allowed to dine-in, you'd enjoy incredibly beautiful views of Charlotte Harbor.

But, you can still enjoy them when you pick up your food!

Unlike during normal times, there are almost no cars parked in the area across from the restaurant - which is essentially the closest thing to a beach on Pine Island.

Enjoy!
