CAPE CORAL, Fla — Fox 4 is proud to help bring you The SWFL Virtual Job Fair.
We're partnering with Better Together, Cape Christian, and Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, as well as more than 30 employers, to connect you to businesses that are hiring right now.
“When you lose a job, small problems become big problems," Megan Rose, CEO of Better Together says. "We see a lot of families lose what they worked so hard for. Whether it’s housing, safety, security, And just the stress it puts on a marriage, as well."
So here's what you need to know:
- The SWFL Virtual Job Fair will be August 13.
- There will be at least 30 employers looking to hire for a wide range of jobs in fields like health care, construction, and retail.
- We will do it over Zoom. So you will watch employers give a presentation, you'll have a chance to ask questions, and potentially interview on the spot.
- It's free and you can sign up here.
- We will offer free career coaching, interview and resume tips, and show you where to get help for everything from professional clothing to child care.
And some of the faces you know and trust from Fox 4 will lead some of those professional development sessions.
