HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- Former Indianapolis Colt Robert Mathis was arrested early Tuesday morning on OWI charges.
Mathis was arrested by the Carmel (Indiana) Police Department at 12:09 a.m., according to court records. He has a Carmel address.
Mathis was booked into the Hamilton County Jail at 3:30 a.m. His charge was listed as OWI: Endangering a Person.
Mathis retired after the 2016 season, but he's spent the 2017 as "Pass Rush Consultant/Player Development" with the Colts.
He had 123 sacks in 192 games, all with the Colts. He had more sacks than anybody in team history.
