Tonight these two rivals set aside the game to honor Khyler Edman, the teenager killed in a home burglary that turned violent. Wearing all white family, friends and students released baloons in honor of Khyler.
Despite the rain, both teams fought hard but it was the Port Charlotte Pirates that took the win in this close game.

Dunbar hosted the Island Coast Gators tonight. Island Coast started off strong, thanks to Quarterback Jason Joseph, however was not able to score. Dunbar won this game tonight.

It was a very close game tonight a nail biting game. Bishop Verot ended up winning this tight game 22-21.

Gateway Charter Griffins vs. Bonita Springs Bullsharks
Bonita Springs hosted their very first Varsity homecoming game tonight and they marked it with a fly over! This is all in part of their schools Aerospace program.
Gateway earned an early lead. However Bonita bounced back returning fire but it wasn't enough, Gateway fought back taking the win 27-14.
