Lightning release Stanley Cup Champions boat parade, fan rally schedule

TAMPA, Fla. – The city of Tampa will celebrate the Stanley Cup champions with a boat parade and a fan rally this week.

The team will get back to Tampa Tuesday evening and head over to AMALIE Arena for a celebration with family and VIPs.

According to a press release from the Tampa Bay Lightning, the boat parade will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30 and the parade route will be along the Hillsborough River and fans can line up the City of Tampa Riverwalk.

Fans are encouraged by the team to maintain social distancing for the boat parade and wear masks during the festivities.

Shortly after the boat parade, there will be a fan rally at Raymond James Stadium for Bolts fans with tickets.

Parking for the event is free and will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the Bucs' home will open at 6:30 p.m. and the rally will start around 7:30 p.m.
