LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The 2018 World Cup kicked off Thursday with a 5-0 victory for host country Russia over Saudi Arabia.  Many local businesses have watch parties planned for the coming weeks to watch their favorite teams.

Here are a few options for fans of international soccer:

The German American Social Club in Cape Coral will be open to the public for every game of the German team in round one!  Come watch with us and cheer for the German team! Doors open one hour prior kick-off, no cover charge! Food and drinks available for purchase.

  • 6/7 at 11am, Germany vs. Mexico
  • 6/23 at 2pm, Germany vs. Sweden
  • 6/27 at 10am, Germany vs. Korea Rep.

Sandra’s Restaurant in Downtown Punta Gorda will have specials, big screen and a lot of soccer fun for each Germany game as well! 

GameTime in the Gulf Coast Town Center gets you a front row seat to all the action! Enjoy specialty tapas and drink specials during every match while you watch the excitement unfold on over 65 TVs in surround sound!

Watch all of the World Cup 2018 games at Dogtooth Sports and Music Bar in Naples.  They have 3 large screens available and lots of TVs. Happy Hour all day from 11am to 6:30pm.
