Taste of Cape

Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival
Fort Myers, FL - The Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival is the largest 2-day event on Estero Island! The festival will start with a 2 mile parade. The parade will travel from the Fort Myers Beach Elementary School to Lynn Hall Memorial Park next to Time Square. After the parade, the Lion’s Club will be offering its famous shrimp dinners, featuring locally caught wild shrimp from the Fort Myers Beach shrimp fleet. Over 100 vendors with arts and crafts, food, gifts, jewelry, clothing will also be on site. There will also be the 5th annual Shrimp Eating Contest on Sunday.

11th Annual March in the Park
Cape Coral, FL - The Garden Club of Cape Coral holds will hold their annual fundraiser this weekend. There will be plants for sale, arts and crafts, gardening demonstrations and fun activities for the kits. The proceeds enable them to give scholarships to several local high school students and donate to local schools who have school gardens run by their students. They also use some of the proceeds in support of the Butterfly Garden at Rotary Park in memory of members who have passed on.

Bonita Blues Festival
Bonita Springs, FL - The Bonita Blues Festival is coming back to Riverside Park for its 13th year in Bonita Springs for 2 days of live music, beer and wine, and craft vendors. Attendees are asked to dress for the weather because this is an outdoor event and is rain or shine. Please bring chairs, blankets, hats and sunblock. Guests are NOT permitted to bring pets, coolers and outside food/beverages.

Naples, FL - Free to attend! Come and witness some amazing chalk art when professional and student artists take over 5th Avenue South with fabulous chalk art drawings! Naples, FL - The Artis-Naples will be hosting their Free Community Day. There will be activities throughout the facility including live concerts, an instrument petting zoo for kids, face painting and access to all museum exhibitions and galleries. This is a free admision event.

91st Annual Arcadia Rodeo
Arcadia, FL - Join us for the 91st Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo. The awesome All-Florida Saddle Club Quadrille team will perform in the arena at 1:00 p.m. You cannot miss the adorable kids, ages 4 to 6, competing in the mutton bustin at 1:30 p.m. Rodeo action begins at 2:00 p.m. NEW to the Arcadia Rodeo is 4x National Finals Rodeo Barrel Man/Rodeo Clown, Mr. John Harrison.
