Divine Donuts in Fort Myers is offering some sweet deals for National Donut Day on Friday!
While supplies last, you can grab a free glazed yeast or glazed cake donut with any purchase. Divine Donuts is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until they sell out.
The Salvation Army started National Donut Day on the first Friday in June of 1938. The holiday was created to honor the Donut Lassies who served these treats to soldiers on the frontlines of WWI. The tradition continues 81 years later in Lee County.
