ESTERO, Fla. — A new program, the Grub Club, launches at the Koreshan State Park on Tuesday, where you can bring your lunch and join a Florida Master Naturalist to explore the state park.
On Tuesday, June 18th, join a master naturalist for an experience on manatees and dolphins. The discussion will cover behaviors, anatomy and fun facts about these animals. The session is from 12 to 1 p.m.
On July 9th, the session will cover shells and the creatures that reside inside.
The sessions continue on August 28th and September 18th with Gopher Tortoises and butterflies. Each session is from 12 to 1 p.m.
Naturalist Grub Club sessions are free with the park entry fee. It's $5 per vehicle with 2 to 8 occupants, $4 per single occupant vehicle and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists.
