FORT MYERS, Fla. — There's a local restaurant that might raise some eyebrows while owners say they're raising money for kids in need.

FK Your Diet in Fort Myers stands for foster kid, just like owner Doug Miller. He says after growing up as a foster kid for 12 years, he was introduced to a number of chefs, or moms, and nine times out of ten, meals were awful. He says food became a big thing for him.

Miller and his girlfriend, Amy Eldridge, retired to Florida at 45-years-old. They decided to open FK Your Diet a little over a year later to showcase foster kid food while giving back to the community. He says five percent of revenue made at the restaurant will be donated to foster kids.

FK Your Diet is open 7 days a week in Fort Myers. For more information, click here.
