MATLACHA, Fla. — Local entertainment troupe, the Hot Flashz, hold their eighth annual bunny hop Easter egg hunt on Matlacha Island this Saturday.

Lovegrove Gallery and Gardens partnered with the group for the event, where Hot Flashz choreographer, Darcy Kuenzel, will lead kids in a variety of fun dances while they spend the morning searching for over 2,000 Easter eggs.

There will also be raffles for different items and gift certificates.

The Hot Flashz help raise money for Camp Boggy Creek, a Florida camp for children with life-threatening illnesses, and Special Operations Warrior Foundation, providing full college scholarship grants, as well as education and counseling to the children of military personnel who die in service.

The event is free from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. It's located at 4637 Pine Island Road, Northwest on Matlacha Island.
