PINE ISLAND, Fla. — If you're looking for weekend plans that are unique to Southwest Florida, IslandFest is coming back to Pine Island.
Saturday, the community is celebrating their second annual IslandFest Mullet Toss and Seafood Festival.
Organizers say the event will hold onto several island traditions, while offering several new fun activities.
It will include local seafood vendors, arts and crafts vendors, fishing seminars, cast net demonstrations, local music, and a mullet toss.
The IslandFest Mullet Toss and Seafood Festival will be on March 13 at Philips Park on Pine Island from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
A $5 donation at the gate gets you a free mullet toss!
