LadyCakes Bakery in Cape Coral is asking for the community's help to become the Sweetest Bakery in America.
The national contest is organized by Dawn Foods, a global bakery manufacturer and ingredients supplier.
From now until September 30th, you can vote for your favorite bakery to take home the title of Sweetest Bakery in America. The national winner will receive a trip for two to Dawn's Innovation Studio in Jackson, Michigan to participate in a workshop with Senior Bakery Application Chef, Melissa Trimmer. State winners will also receive support from Dawn Foods to help promote their bakeries in local communities.

Last year, 890 bakeries competed and drew nearly 1.7 million votes across the United States and Puerto Rico.
