NAPLES, Fla. – The personal finance website WalletHub says Southwest Florida is the home of the #1 coastal beach town in America!
Tuesday they released their rankings of “Best Beach Towns to Live in” for 2019, and Naples, Florida sits atop the list!
Naples also topped their list in 2017, but had slipped to #2 on the 2018 list. But now they're returned to the top spot.
To determine the most livable beachside communities, WalletHub compared 192 cities across 62 key metrics. The data set ranges from housing costs to share of for-sale waterfront homes to quality of beach water.
Other Southwest Florida beach towns on the list include Marco Island at #47 and Bonita Springs at #66.
Three other Florida towns made the top 10: Boca Raton (#5), Sarasota (#6), and Venice (#10).
WalletHub ranks the best Lake Beach Towns on a separate list. Traverse City, Michigan tops that list.
