NAPLES, Fla. — The Naples Zoo features a traveling art exhibit through April 21, 2019 with 11 sculptures made entirely of plastic collected from beaches, to educate the public on ocean pollution.

The art exhibit is called "Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea." The zoo says the sculptures of marine animals represent more than 315 billion lbs. of plastic in oceans today.

The zoo is also holding a Winter Camp WILD for kids ages 5 to 12, to help youth make changes in their daily lives and use their voices to protect our oceans. Campers will meet new animals, see the "Washed Ashore" sculptures and build their own art.

Camp days are December 27, 28, 31 and January 2. You can register for the event here.
