NAPLES, Fla. -- If you are a car enthusiast, one of the largest archives of automotive history is right here in Southwest Florida.
Revs Institute in Naples has more than 100 cars each with a unique history, the oldest dating back to the 1890s.
The museum is now offering tours of the workshop in addition to their regular tours, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Employees say restoring and preserving the vehicles is the heart of the automotive collection.
“These are all working vehicles, and to keep them working vehicles and cars that can go on a track, it takes a dedicated team of experts, to work on the cars and maintain them, and keep them living, so we want them to be able to see that,” said Mark Vargas, COO and Director of the Library and Archives, Revs Institute.
