Norwegian Cruise Line today unveiled its Giving Joy Campaign, recognizing and rewarding educators around the U.S. and Canada. The campaign will honor deserving educators and highlight the joy of travel as a crucial component of continued education.
Through a month-long contest from March 11 to April 12, the public will have the chance to nominate certified or accredited educators, currently working in a teaching position across the U.S. and Canada, who have brought joy into education, enhancing students’ love for learning. At the close of the contest, Norwegian Cruise Line will vet and reward 15 teachers with a seven-day cruise for two of their choice, and provide airfare and accommodations to an exclusive award ceremony in Seattle on May 3, where they will have the chance to win $15,000 towards their school.
On Tuesday, March 8th, Andy Stuart – President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line – will be available to discuss the importance of connecting travel and education, the new ‘Giving Joy’ campaign and how your audience can get involved.
Showcasing its commitment to family and community, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Giving Joy campaign hopes to inspire and spread a sense of joy and goodness to as many people for generations to come, through education and its important connection with travel. From cultural awareness to global acceptance, travel provides a broader sense of perspective and encourages compassion in a meaningful way.
