During this pandemic, millions have had to quickly adopt digital tools to complete everyday tasks such as ordering groceries, paying bills and staying connected. AARP research shows tech ownership among older adults is growing -- more than half (51%) of adults 50+ own a tech product. However, just 26% of internet users ages 65+ report feeling very confident using their computers, smart phones or other electronic devices to engage online, according to the Pew Research Center. The pandemic has only further amplified this technology literacy gap AND left older consumers subject to cyber attacks, according to a recent FBI report that shows a 400% increase since the onset of COVID.
