COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Forest Service said Tuesday it is combating three large wildfires with the help of local personnel.

Two fires are located in Picayune Strand State Forest, and the third is east of the former Hendry County Correctional site and North Big Cypress Seminole Reservation.
Greenway Fire, Collier County: 16,794 acres and 50% contained
Flag Pond Fire, Collier County: 2,578 acres and 100% contained
West Boundary Fire, Hendry County: 2,800 acres and 50% contained
The Florida Forest Service said all three fires were caused by lightning.
