COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - The Greenway fire is currently 16,794 acres and 50 percent contained, the Greater Naples Fire District said.

Because of the size of the fire, officials said there are still significant areas with the potential to move. Wind conditions today could potentially move the fire in a westerly direction.
The Greater Naples Fire District is advising residents in VeronaWalk, Winding Cypress and the Lake Park Road/Tamiami Trail areas to monitor conditions. There are no evacuation orders or road closures at this time.
