Here is your evening forecast for Monday, August 12th, 2024.

The few showers that we have on radar will wind down after sunset.

It'll be a dry, sunny and humid start with isolated storms developing after 2pm. Storm chances will stay limited at 30%, winding down after sunset.

Heat and humidity will remain our primary concerns with feels like temperatures between 100-110°.

The higher the heat index, the greater the risk for heat-related illnesses, which is why the National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Heat Advisory for Glades, Hendry and Collier counties from 10am Tuesday through 6pm Wednesday.

Heat Advisory in effect

Afternoon storms will be more scattered Wednesday through Friday afternoons, mainly after 2pm each day.

Looking ahead for the weekend, provided the European model pans out, we may be in for a mainly dry Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned!
