Here is your forecast for Friday, October 4th, 2024

Showers and storms will gradually wind down and should be mostly out of SWFL by 9pm .

Overnight, partly cloudy skies are forecast with lows in the mid to upper 70s. After 2pm, scattered storms will be developing, increasing later in the afternoon and evening. Heavy rain and lightning will remain our primary threats.

Heading into Sunday, a trough of low pressure in the Gulf will begin to increase our rain chances, especially the second half of Sunday. Rounds of heavy rain will be a concern Sunday through Thursday. Considering how saturated the ground already is, this could lead to flooding.
