Here is your forecast for Sunday, September 8th, 2024
It was toasty day across SWFL with highs in the low to mid 90s. Few scattered storms are still around tonight, but any storms should be done by midnight.
Monday morning we will wake up with temperatures in the upper 70s and mostly sunny skies. Afternoon highs will warm into the low to mid 90s with triple digit feels like temperatures. Don't be surprised if we see another round of heat advisories for parts of South Florida.
Scattered storms will develop after 2pm and continue through much of the evening. They will also mostly stay east of I-75. These storms will produce heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds. Always a good reminder that if you can hear thunder, then you're close enough to be struck by lightning. Play it safe, and get indoors or to your car. Storms will wind down around 9pm tonight.
