LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Southwest Florida is getting more money to help with Hurricane Irma recovery.
Congressman Francis Rooney announces FEMA grants of nearly $13 million dollars total to Bonita springs, Cape Coral, and Fort Myers.
The grants will reimburse the cities for debris removal costs in the aftermath of the storm.
Bonita received $3 million, Cape Coral $5.6 million and Fort Myers $4.2 million.
