All Lee Health hospitals remain fully operational

According to Davita, all Lee Health hospitals performed well during the storm; only minor issues were reported.

Complete assessments will be made today of acute care sites, and when safe to travel, assessments will be made to Outpatient Centers located away from the hospitals.

Latest updates:

  • Electrical power was restored to Cape Coral Hospital this morning at 7 a.m.
  • Lee Memorial Hospital, Gulf Coast Medical Center, HealthPark Medical Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital are operating with generator power awaiting the return of normal power from FPL.
  • All Outpatient Centers will remain closed until they can be assessed for damage.
  • Combined total number of employees, physicians and families billeted by Lee Health Sunday, Sept. 10: 8,340
