The family of a Cape Coral woman who filed a wrongful death suit last year has settled with the city for $200,000.
Jessica Green died in a crash last year and her family filed suit against the city of Cape Coral. The lawsuit claims that on September 16th of last year, Green ran the stop sign at the intersection Southwest 32nd Terrace and Southwest 8th Court due to debris from Hurricane Irma that was blocking the sign.
Green collided with another car and died as a result.
