LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- School districts in Southwest Florida are closely monitoring the weather as Tropical Storm Colin moves just offshore.  Here's a look at their plans for Monday.

The school district in Lee County says all schools are open Monday, but normal after-school activities are cancelled, including adult education classes on technical college campuses.  These cancellations do not apply to daycare services (after school daycares) located on school campuses. District officials say they will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and will keep parents updated.

In Charlotte County, the school year is over, but the school district is cancelling all school-related activities across the county Monday due to the sever weather forecast. This includes summer camps, academic programs and sports.

Collier County schools are open Monday, but parents are reminded that these last two days of the school year are early dismissal days.
