LEE COUNTY, Fla-- Lee County will resume regularly scheduled trash and recycling pickups. Regular trash pick-up is for household garbage and recyclables only.
If your garbage contains spoiled food, please place it in tightly sealed bags inside garbage cans with lids in order to avoid health hazards from pests. Each garbage can or bag should weigh no more than 50 pounds.
Make sure garbage and recyclable are at the curb, accessible to garbage trucks, but not blocking the road. Everything to be collected should be located away from storm debris, mail boxes and utility equipment including power poles, power lines, electric meters, fire hydrants, etc.
Storm debris collection began Monday, September 18th for Charlotte County and Cape Coral residents.
Horticulture pickup is set to resume next week.
