FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are on scene at Old Metro Parkway and Hanson Street directing traffic and controlling congestion as residents wait in line for hurricane supplies at the 84 Lumber Depot.
According to Fort Myers Police, all traffic on Old Metro is southbound only as customer vehicles are backed up onto the roadway.
Drivers are ask to avoid the area unless they have business with merchants who are still open.
Police expect traffic will return to normal at this location between 6pm and 7pm.
