Invest 96L, a new tropical disturbance we are watching east of the Lesser Antilles has a high chance for development over the next 5 days.
This system has the potential to become a tropical depression or a tropical storm by late in the week.
We are not expecting the storm to have any direct impacts on our area, as a cold front will turn the system toward the east into the open Atlantic by next weekend.
