When the power goes out due to a storm and you're left in the dark, Four in Your Corner is still here for you. When there's a hurricane, there's no busier place than your county's Emergency Operations Center, or EOC. If a hurricane is heading our way, here's a look at the essential items you'll want to have on hand. Patrick Nolan and Amy Wegmann went to the Lee County Emergency Operations Center to show who's looking out for you and the lessons learned from Irma.

If a hurricane is heading our way, here's a look at the essential items you'll want to have on hand.
- At least one gallon of water per person, per day.
- Enough non-perishable food to last you and your family several days.
- Disposable eating utensils
- Battery-operated TV or radio
- Your cell phone and car charger
- Gas for your car and generator
- Charcoal and lighter fluid, or propane gas for grills.
- Prescriptions & baby supplies
- Valuable documents in a waterproof container
