The 10th Tropical Storm of the 2017 season, Jose, has officially formed in the open Atlantic.
Right now Jose has sustained winds of 40 mph moving WNW at 13 mph. Jose is forecast to continue strengthening, up to hurricane status by Friday.
At this point, portions of the northern Leeward Islands could be impacted by Saturday.
