LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- As Hurricane Irma approaches Florida's west coast one particular unsecured item is worrying some Cape Coral neighbors.

Tyler Kehl sent this photo to Fox 4 showing debris in the front yard of a home under construction along SW 6th Place, just off Skyline Boulevard.

Tyler reports that the builder simply tipped the portable toilet over and left without securing it to the ground or moving it to a safe place.  This just hours before Hurricane Irma is expected to bring possible Category 3 winds to the area on Sunday.

Other Southwest Florida residents have been contacting Fox 4 about construction debris being left on other work sites with little to no safety measures taken to keep them from flying away in the storm and possibly becoming projectiles.
