7 Day Forecast: Warm, mostly dry across SWFL

An upper level disturbance moving across the state today will provide Southwest Florida the highest rain chances of the work week.

Rain chances look to be highest in the afternoon and evening hours with the highest coverage for locations near I-75 including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Naples today. Still, inland communities of Glades and Hendry county may be dodging some scattered showers and storms late in the day. Rain will push off the Gulf coast before midnight and we should have dry and mild conditions overnight under mostly cloudy skies.

Rain chances look to be around 40% for Monday. However, most of the day will still be sunny and dry with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s across the area.

The rest of the work week will continue to feature above average temperatures flirting with 90 degrees by the end of the week and increasing humidity. High pressure will keep any storm systems away from Florida through the end of the weekend keeping rain chances low. However, slim rain chances can't be ruled out along the sea breeze each afternoon.
